We start by evaluating your mitt and noting any special areas of concerns or issues. After removing all loose debris and dirt, we’ll then remove all the old laces and begin to deconstruct and scrape the interior palm adhesive away if your mitt. We will begin to clean the leather making sure it is free of dirt, sweat and grime by applying our pH balanced, human grade leather cleaner. Once your mitt is cleaned and prepared for the lacing process we’ll apply new palm andhesive and begin to lace up your mitt with the color of lace chosen at checkout.
The process is time consuming and delicate care is taken to ensure that all lacing patterns are restored to factory methods. We go above and beyond because we are not mass producing gloves and we take our time to make sure all of the lace is split to the proper thickness and knotted correctly.
